Stephen Spinella (Football) was a 4-year letterman in football from 1982-85, a 2-time All-South Independent Team selection at linebacker; a 2-time All-Louisiana Team selection; named to the Italian American All-American Team; and was named honorable mention NCAA All-American in 1985. Stephen was named to the USL All Ragin' Cajun 25 Year Football Team. Today, Stephen remains the all-time tackle leader for the university with 386 career tackles - 212 were solo tackles. Stephen received a General Studies degree from UL in 1996. He is owner of Spartan Industrial Products in Houma, LA.
