Godin returns to Lousiana to become the new associate head coach for the Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team  ... He returns after spending three seasons as the women's assistant coach at Arkansas … Was runner up for the 2016 NCAA assistant coach of the year … In his second season with the Razorbacks under head coach Michael Hegarty, he helped guide the team to 16 wins for the second-consecutive season as well as the program’s 14th all-time NCAA Championship bid … Was instrumental in helping Yuliya Lysa to All-SEC First Team honors and freshman Ana Oparenovic to All-Freshman acclaim during the 2016 season … Prior to Arkansas, he served as men’s and women’s tennis assistant coach here at Louisiana for the 2013-14 season where he helped guide the men’s program to a Sun Belt Conference championship, an NCAA Tournament appearance and a final ITA ranking of No. 63 … Served as the women’s tennis assistant coach at Auburn from 2011-13 and helped the Tigers improve from unranked to as high as No. 13 in the ITA polls … Served as the Director of Tennis at the ATP Training Center in Port St. Lucie, Fla., from 2003-04, working with some of the top players in the world … Served as the men’s and women’s assistant coach at Tyler Junior College from 2000-02 and 2006, working under ITA Hall of Fame coach John Peterson.

Personal
Native of Petit-rocher, New Brunswick, Canada … Was once a ranked junior player in Canada and competed in multiple future, satellite and semi-professional tournaments in North America before turning to coaching full-time in 1998.
