Kali Boatwright was added as an assistant coach for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball program in August 2021, completing the coaching staff for Kristi Gray's debut season with the program.

Prior to arriving in Louisiana, Boatwright spent the previous three years as an assistant coach at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla., working with both the indoor and beach volleyball programs.

In April 2021, Boatwright was tabbed to the AVCA Thirty Under 30 Beach Award in the inaugural class for beach volleyball coaches.

Her two-season stint with the Tritons' indoor volleyball squad (no 2020 season due to COVID) was highlighted by a 19-12 mark in the 2019 season in which the team set a new single-season record for aces and setter Sydney Case was named to the All-SSC and All-Region team.

The Lakeland, Fla, native competed collegiately in volleyball for four seasons (2014-17) between Augusta (Ga.) University and Eckerd College. Boatwright tallied 985 kills, 113 aces, and 1,324 digs and was part of two teams that advanced to the NCAA National Tournament.

She made an immediate impact at Augusta, helping lead the Jaguars to a program-record 27 wins and a bid to the NCAA Southeast Regional Tournament where she earned all-tournament honors as a freshman. She was also a key component of the team's lineup as a sophomore, ranking second on the team in both kills (254) and digs (378).

Boatwright transferred to Eckerd for her final two years where she played both front row and back row.  As a junior, she twice earned Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors and led the Tritons with 311 kills while averaging 2.99 kills per set and 2.82 digs per set.  During her senior season in which she battled injuries, Boatwright averaged 2.37 digs per set.

She also excelled in the classroom as a two-time recipient of the SSC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll award

Boatwright was also part of the rapid growth of the beach volleyball program at Eckerd.  She amassed a 15-7 record as a senior on a team that finished runner-up at the AVCA Small College Championships.

She prepped at Lakeland High School where she was a three-time all-county selection.

In May 2018, Boatwright received her bachelor's of arts degree in behavioral science from Eckerd College.
