2010 Outdoor: Participated in seven meets, all in the javelin throw event...Highest finish was a third-place mark at the Southern Miss Golden Eagle Classic (April 24) with a toss of 174 feet, 5 inches...Set a career-best mark with a toss of 191-11 at the Sun Belt Championships (May 7-9).

High School: Lettered in football, track, golf, and soccer... Was part of the state champion soccer team... was named to the all-district team in track  in 2008 and 2009... Participated in the javelin, 4x100, 4x400, and the 300m hurdles.

Personal: Born in Lake Charles, La. on Dec. 9, 1990... Son of Valerie McCoullugh and Wendell Christian...Has one sister Melissa Christian Chavez.... Majoring in dietetics and plans to be a sports dietitian.
