Ashley Pauly joined the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball program as the chief of staff beginning with the 2018-19 season.
Pauly comes to Louisiana after spending the previous two seasons in a similar capacity with ACC-member Louisville. Prior to joining the Cardinals, she served a two-year tenure as the director of softball operations and an instructor at Seventh Inning Softball in Atlanta.
Pauly competed for and worked alongside Gerry Glasco during his tenure at Georgia. She was a four-year starter from 2009-12, helped the Bulldogs twice reach the WCWS final four (2009 and 2010), earned All-SEC Academic honors and served as team representative on the student-athlete advisory committee.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Georgia in Dec. 2012, the Kennesaw, Ga., native served as a graduate assistant while working on her master’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis on sports management and policy.
The daughter of Keith and Rita Pauly, Ashley prepped at Kennesaw (Ga.) Mountain High School where she was a three-time all-region selection and helped guide the Mustangs to a Class 5A Region Championship in 2007. She was an academic honor roll member who earned Character Award three times and Highest Academic Achievement Award twice.
