REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2004)
Competed for the first time after taking a redshirt her initial freshman season in 2003...Appeared in 59 games, mainly used as a pinch runner...Started five times – three in left field and two in right field...Scored 17 runs...Hit her first career home run on Feb. 29 against Texas Southern at the McNeese Cowgirl Classic...First career double came against Middle Tennessee in the championship game of the Sun Belt Tournament at Ragin’ Cajuns Softball Park...Scored the game-winning run against No. 6 Florida State in the FSU Seminole Challenge...Pinch ran for Lacey Bertucci at second base in the top of the 10th inning (international tiebreaker rule) and later scored on a one-out single by Crystal George to give the Cajuns a 1-0 win over Florida State...Also scored the game-winning run Feb. 21 against Missouri in the Mardi Gras Classic at Ragin’ Cajuns Softball Park – pinch ran for Lacey Bertucci who led off the inning with a single, advanced to second on a wild pitch with one out and scored on a two-out throwing error by Missouri’s Kendra Power...Had one hit and one RBI in the Cajuns NCAA Regional victory over Temple...Scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch in the Cajuns’ 12-4 win over Oklahoma which forced the "if necessary" game at the NCAA Regional in Tucson, Ariz.

Four-year letterwinner in softball for Port Barre in Class 2A...Also lettered one year in track and field...Helped guide the Red Devils to four state playoff appearances, two district championships and a state championship...Four-time All-District selection and three-time All-State selection...Two-time All-Parish MVP and selected to the All-Parish team four times... Named All-District MVP...All-Acadiana selection for two years...Was Senior Class Pro-Tem and Junior Class President...Voted Most Beautiful and Most Athletic her senior year...Named to Port Barre’s Homecoming Court her junior and senior years.
