2013 (Senior)
Started all 62 games between first base, second base and right field…batted .326 (61-for-187) with 58 RBI, 47 runs scored and 13 home runs…had 26 extra-base hits (13 homers, 12 doubles and a triple)…hit two home runs against North Texas on Apr. 6, going 3-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored…batted .441 in a 24 game span from Mar. 29-May 10, with 38 RBI, 21 runs and seven home runs…homered in the eighth inning of the NCAA Super Regional at Ann Arbor to give the Cajuns a 3-2 lead.
2012 (Junior)
Hit a grand slam in the Lafayette NCAA Regional against Stanford (5/19/12)…was third on the team with 16 multi-RBI games…hit home runs in back-to-back games on two occasions, first against Louisiana Tech and Northwestern on 2/19/12, second against Mississippi Valley State and Stanford on 5/18-19/12…hit home runs in back-to-back-to-back games against Houston and North Texas (4/7-4/10/12)…had a 14-game hitting streak from 2/24-3/11/12…scored four runs against Stephen F. Austin, going 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBI (3/4/12).
Prior To Louisiana
Established herself as Arizona's number one option off the bench in pinch-hitting situations ... Started 19 games; six at third base, 10 as the DP and three in right field ... Her first career home run was a grand slam, apart of a five RBI outing vs. Nevada on February 14 ... The definition of a utility player, played third base, right field, designated player, pinch hit and pinch ran despite playing predominately shortstop in high school ... Hit four home runs in her freshman campaign along with 12 RBI ... Tucson Regional: Recorded only one at bat in two appearances in the regional, but it was all she needed to make an impact ... Arizona went down one run in the ninth inning of the final game in the regional vs. Hofstra and needed a run to extend the game; Haack extended the game with a home run to left center ... Tucson Super Regional: Pinch hit vs. BYU on May 28 ... WCWS: Appeared in four games as pinch hitter and started the June 8 game vs. UCLA as the DP.

Katy, Texas, High School, 2009 ... Played four years of varsity softball under her father, Kalum Haack ... All-State second team in her sophomore campaign, and made the 5A all-tournament first team in the same season ... All-greater Houston first team in her sophomore through senior seasons, and was the MVP as a sophomore ... Received District 17 5A first team honors as a freshman, sophomore and junior, and was the MVP her senior season ... Displayed her all-around athleticism as a member of the softball, volleyball and track teams, becoming a triple letterman ... Earned four letters in softball and volleyball, and one letter in track in the triple jump ... Was the team MVP in both volleyball and softball her senior season ... Her Tigers were the two-time Channel 55 (KTBU TV) team of the week and took second place at State in 2006 ... Was the District 17 5A MVP in volleyball as a senior, earned first team all-district honors as a sophomore and junior and second team as a freshman ... Played travel ball for the Katy Heat under her parents, Kalum and Leslie Haack, for six years, and played one year under Dave McKorkle's Houston Express.

Born August 14, 1990 in Lawrence, Kansas…full name is Mattelaine Shea Haack…daughter of Kalum and Leslie Haack…her father Kalum was the head Softball coach at Kansas (1988-95) and Alabama (1996-98)…has one brother, Brooks Haack, a quarterback on the UL Football team.
