Kyle Brady joined the Louisiana Softball program as an assistant coach in September 2025. He serves as the Ragin' Cajuns pitching coach.
Before arriving in Louisiana, Brady spent one season on staff at Toledo. The 2025 season with the Rockets marked his return to the Division I coaching ranks.
Brady's Toledo pitching staff ranked Top 5 in the MAC in ERA and strikeouts. Senior Sophia Knight reached double-digit wins a second straight season while her 111 strikeouts were the second-most recorded in her career and allowed her to become just the fifth player in UT history to tallied 400-plus strikeouts.
He helped Chattanooga State Community College to conference and regional titles as well as a trip to the NJCAA World Series as an assistant coach the two seasons prior to heading to Toledo.
Brady also served as a pitching coach at UConn in 2022. The Huskies finished 20-4 in BIG EAST play that season and earned their first regular-season title since 1997. UConn was one of two teams to finish conference play with an ERA below two (1.99) and its school-record 194 strikeouts as a staff led the BIG EAST.
In addition, the Huskies registered a program-record 395 strikeouts that season. One of Brady's top performers with the Huskies was unanimous first-team All-Big East selection Elise Sokolsky, who topped the conference in wins (20) and strikeouts (180).
Brady's initial experience at the collegiate level came as the director of operations at Duke (2019-20). The Blue Devils achieved their first national ranking at No. 25 with a 23-4 overall record in the final ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 poll.
In addition to his coaching experience, Brady has developed state-of-the-art training programs for pitchers and overhand throwers, and placed dozens of players in collegiate softball programs for nearly a decade. He has also worked as a performance and development consultant for several colleges and universities across the country.
A Cincinnati, Ohio native, Brady graduated from Dayton in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in philosophy. He pitched two seasons at the NCAA Division II level at Wingate University (2011-13), in addition to playing professionally for three seasons in the Frontier League and American Association.
