Played and started in 10 games as a redshirt freshman…Was one of the better defensive lineman in the conference recording 47 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack…Had a monster game against Georgia State (11/10) tallying nine solo tackles, one tackle for loss and a sack...Posted five tackles and his first career force fumble against South Alabama.

2017 Season (Freshman)
Played in three games...Finished with two tackles and one forced fumble...Had one solo tackle for a 21 yard loss, forcing a fumble on the play, at Tulsa (9/9)...Credited with one assisted tackle against ULM (9/23).
