2012 (Sophomore): Was a regular on multiple special teams units in all 12 games. . . made four tackles during the season. . . had an assisted stop vs. Tulane (10/6/12) and a solo tackle vs. South Alabama (11/24/12). . . ended year by making two tackles on special teams vs. East Carolina in the New Orleans Bowl. . . earned second letter.

2011 (Freshman): Played in eight games, being primarily used on special teams. . . played in every game except Western Kentucky in a nine-game stretch starting with Nicholls State. . . made solo tackles vs. FIU and North Texas. . . earned first letter.

2010 (Redshirt): Spent the year adjusting to the collegiate game, redshirting as a member of the defensive secondary.

High School: Three-time all-district selection at North Vermilion High, playing for coach Tommy Byler. . . rushed for 1,101 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior, adding 70 tackles, five forced fumbles and three defensive scores to earn first team all-district kudos. . . made 95 tackles with seven sacks and four forced fumbles as a junior. . . second team all-district pick as both a sophomore and junior. . . earned a total of nine varsity letters, including four in football, two in both soccer and baseball and one in track. . . named the most outstanding athlete in the district as a senior when he finished third at the state Class 3A meet in the 400 meters, sixth in the 100 meters and eighth in the 55-meters indoors. . . also tabbed as the most outstanding track athlete in the parish. . . all-district choice in soccer as a junior and senior, being named first team as a senior. . .
