Took over the starting quarterback role midway through the season, finishing with a team-best 1,555 yards passing and 11 TDs in the air, plus 667 yards and a team-best 9 TDs on the ground … played sparingly in three of four non-conference games before getting his most significant action off the bench in UL's SBC opener against Marshall … rushed for a first-half touchdown before taking over the reins midway through the third quarter … rushed for 129 yards and 3 TDs while passing for a pair of second-half scores in helping Louisiana erase a 14-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter and earning a 54-51 double overtime victory … earned the start the following week at James Madison and threw for a season-high 243 yards and two TDs … threw for 187 yards and a TD, while rushing for a season-high 139 yards at Troy … was 14-for-15 in the air for 232 yards and two TDs in a win at South Alabama and accounted for five TDS (3 passing, 2 rushing) in a win over Texas State … rushed for a pair of TDs in a nationally-televised contest at Arkansas State.
