UL: Enrolled at UL in January, 2011 following his transfer from McNeese State. . . joined the program at the start of summer workouts. . . was unable to take part in spring practice following shoulder surgery. . . will be eligible to play in 2013.
High School: First team all-district pick as a junior at Opelousas Catholic High, playing for coach Jeff Jordan and Doug Guillory. . .played both ways in high school, seeing time on the offensive and defensive lines. . . also received all-parish honors as a junior, helping team to the district title. . . also lettered in track four times, competing in the shotput, discus and javelin. . . won the district discus title as a senior.
McNeese State: Redshirted during the 2011 season. . . transferred to UL for the 2012 spring semester and joined the Cajuns for summer workouts.
