2012 (Redshirt): Was a member of the 2012 recruiting class, but sat out the season to retain freshman eligibility.
High School: Played in the Broward County All-Star game as a senior at Hallandale High, playing for coach Damon Jones. . . lettered twice in football, playing both tight end and defensive end. . . was a standout on the track team, competing in the high jump and triple jump, earning honorable mention all-county honors as a senior. . . had a season-best 43-7 jump to finish fifth in the state regional as a junior and his jump of 44-0 earned him an 11th place finish in the 2012 state meet.
