2011 (Redshirt): Made the team as a walk-on during preseason camp and redshirted as a member of the defensive secondary.
High School: First team all-area choice as a senior at Carencro High, playing for coach Brent Indest. . . two-way regular, making 82 catches as a wide receiver and seven interceptions as a safety. . . three-time all-district choice as a defensive back. . . lettered four times in football and three in track. . . finished fifth in the state as a senior in the triple jump. . . claimed the district triple jump title as a junior.
