2011 (Junior): Honorable mention All-Sun Belt choice after finishing seventh on the team with 64 tackles (50 solo). . . voted the team’s big hit award. . . started all 13 games at safety, finishing third on the team with 8.5 tackles-for-loss (-30 yards) with two interceptions for 101 yards and a touchdown, seven pass breakups and one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. . . matched his career high with seven tackles against both Middle Tennessee (10/29) and Arkansas State (11/12). . . scooped up and returned a blocked field goal 68 yards for a score vs. Nicholls State (10/17), the third longest return of a blocked kick in school history. . . also brought back an interception 89 yards for a touchdown at Troy (10/8), the third-longest return in school history. . . had five or more tackles in a game nine times, including in the final six contests of the year. . . made five tackles (four solo) and two pass breakups in the New Orleans Bowl win over San Diego State. . . earned third letter.

2009 (Freshman): Played 12 games, earning a start at cornerback vs. Florida Atlantic. . . totaled seven tackles, including two tackles at LSU and two tackles vs. FAU. . . broke-up a pass at LSU.

2008 (Redshirt): Sat out the season to meet NCAA initial eligibility guidelines.

High School: Named first team all-district and the offensive MVP of Brazoria county as a senior at Brazosport High, playing for coach Brian Welch. . . switched from wide receiver to quarterback prior to senior season... second team all-district selection as a junior. . . had a standout track career, owning bests of 22'8" in the long jump and 44'0" in the triple jump.
