Pre Louisiana: Helped lead Pearl River CC to Mississippi state championship in 2005 and 2006; Pearl River won the Junior College National Championship in 2005...Posted nine interceptions during the 2006 season.

Pearl River Central: Was a four-year letterwinner at Pearl River Central HS...Had six INT in 10 games of senior season...Also lettered in baseball, basketball and track.
