Played at Harding University, where he initially signed as a defensive lineman and long snapper out of St. Thomas More...Was injured his freshman year at Harding and chose to transfer to Louisiana as a long snapper.
High School
Started as defensive line and long snapper for three different winning high school programs, including Fayetteville, where he was a two-time state champion, and Navarre High School in Florida, where he was named to the 7A All-State Team and part of the 2017 7A District Championship team...Finished his senior year at STM in Lafayette and was a part of the State Runner Up team in 2018 and named to the Louisiana All-District Team...Participated in the U.S. Army All-American Combine and Nike Open and was invited to play in several postseason games after his senior season.

Son of Rory and Jackie Segrest...His dad, Rory, is currently an assistant coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars...Majoring in Pre-Professional Exercise science with the desire to be a Physical Therapist.
