Appeared in all 14 games, produced 21 tackles and 0.5 tackle for loss … Produced three tackles and a the tackle-for-loss at Troy (Nov. 13) … Credited with three tackles against Georgia Southern (Sept. 25) … Notched three tackles against Texas (Sept. 4) … Had three tackles in the victory over Ohio (Sept. 16) … Added two tackles in the win over App State (Oct. 12).
2020 Season (Redshirt Junior)
A key piece of Louisiana’s defense, Johnson played in all 11 games and earned nine starts…Ranked eighth on the team with 34 tackles and added 1.0 tackle-for-loss…Boasted five games with at least four tackles…Notched four stops at Georgia State…Came up huge against Coastal Carolina, tallying eight tackles and his 1.0 tackle-for-loss…Followed up that performance with five stops at UAB…Produced four tackles against South Alabama and five against Appalachian State.
