2020 Season (Redshirt Junior)
Made his only appearance of the season at ULM (Nov. 28)…In that contest, he went 3-for-4 for 20 yards and threw one touchdown, the first of his career.
2019 Season (Redshirt Sophomore)
In his first season with Louisiana, Magalei made six appearances as the No. 2 quarterback…Completed his first career pass for seven yards in the team’s home opener against Liberty (Sept. 7)…A week later, he eclipsed the 100-yard mark for the first time when he completed nine of 13 attempts for 103 yards against Texas Southern…Also threw his first career touchdown pass against the Tigers…Went 4-for-7 for 43 yards in the team’s win at Coastal Carolina (Nov. 7)…Had a perfect outing in a big win over Troy, finishing the game 6-for-6 for 71 yards and a career-long 24-yard pass.

Missed 2018 season with an injury and picked up a redshirt.

A talented quarterback who is joining Louisiana from the JUCO ranks…In his lone season at Mt. San Antonio College, he led the team to a 9-2 overall record and a 4-1 mark in conference play…During that span, he completed 63.6 percent of his passes, throwing for 1,811 yards and 19 touchdowns.
