Earned Honorable Mention All-Sun Belt Conference honors after starting in all 10 games in which he appeared…Ranked second on the team and was tied for 16th in the Sun Belt Conference with 74 total tackles…Led the team with 4.5 sacks and 7.0 tackles-for-loss…His 4.5 sacks were tied for 10th in the Sun Belt, while the 7.0 tackles-for-loss are tied for the 17th most in the league…Opened the season in style, recording nine total tackles, 1.0 sack and a quarterback hurry at Iowa State on Saturday, Sept. 12, in Ames…After his performance, he was named the Walter Camp FBS National Defensive Player of the Week, making him just the second Ragin’ Cajun to earn the honor and the first since Tyrell Fenroy was named the Walter Camp Offensive Player of the Week in 2008.
