Veteran NFL coach Kyle Caskey joined the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns staff for the 2024 season as Senior Offensive Analyst. Caskey spent 12 years in the NFL coaching in Cincinnati, Detroit and Jacksonville and was most recently running backs coach and special teams coordinator for the St. Louis Battlehawks of the United Football League (UFL).
A former two-sport athlete at Texas A&M, Caskey played two seasons on the football field for the Aggies and helping them to the Big 12 Championship Game in 1998. He competed in the discus at Texas A&M from 1999-2002 where he earned All-Big 12 honors.

Caskey began his coaching career as a defensive graduate assistant at ULM in 2004. He coached at the collegiate level at Indiana State and Ole Miss before being named offensive quality control coach for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010. Caskey was promoted to running backs coach for the Bengals in 2014 before joining the staff for the Detroit Lions in 2019.
During Caskey's time in Detroit in 2019, the Lions had four running backs rush for at least 200 yards, which was the most in the NFL.
His father, Bob Caskey, played football at Texas A&M from 1958-1961.
A native of Daingerfield, Texas, Caskey and his wife, Kayla, have three sons, Olsen, Kolten and Beauden.
