High School: Three-year starter at defensive end for Fontainebleau High School and helped lead the squad of coach Larry Favre to the Class 5A state semifinals as a junior...Had 45 tackles, six sacks and three caused fumbles during that season...Was a second-team pick on the All-District 4-5A team as a senior in the hurricane-shortened season for FHS, the state’s largest school...The Bulldogs went 4-1 in the regular season...Also participated in track, throwing the discus, and powerlifting, finishing sixth in the state in his weight class.
