2012 (Junior):  After playing and practicing as a linebacker during his first three season, he made the move to tight end. . . played in one game as a reserve in a deep and talented tight end roster. . . earned his third letter.

2011 (Sophomore):  Played in seven games at linebacker, earning his only start vs. Middle Tennessee (10/29). . . did not play in the final three games. . . finished year with seven tackles (five solo) with 1.5 tackles for loss, one quarterback sack and a quarterback hurry. . . registered his lone sack for seven yards vs. Nicholls State (9/17). . . made a career-high five tackles (four solo) vs. Middle Tennessee. . . earned second letter.

2010 (Freshman):  Played in 12 games at linebacker, starting four. . . made the first of three consecutive starts at Troy. . . also started season finale at La.-Monroe. . . had 13 of 20 tackles during those four starts, including a season-best four tackles at Troy. . . first career tackle on defense was a sack for loss of six yards vs. ASU. . . named to the Sun Belt Conference Honor Roll.

2009 (Redshirt):  Redshirted, did not play. . . named to the Sun Belt Conference Honor Roll.

High School:  Was a four-year starter. . . played defensive end as a freshman before playing tight end as a sophomore. . . had 58 receptions for 930 yards and eight scores to earn first team Class 3A all-state honors. . . moved to running back as a junior. . . remained at running back for senior season, but also saw time at strong safety. . . had 166 carries for 1,113 yards and 12 scores, adding 18 catches for 173 yards in final prep season.

Personal:  Born Nov. 26, 1990 in Lafayette, La. . . . son of Jay and Denise Hebert. . . is the middle of three children, having two sisters (Jencie & Selina). . . his father and uncle (Jed) both played for the Cajuns from 1983-86. . . industrial technology major.
