COMMUNITY
Luke Cronan – "Community in South Louisiana probably looks a little different than community in Australia, however you couldn't tell by Luke's actions. He has embraced the culture, history, and vibe that is Lafayette, Louisiana. A regular volunteer for many activities, he has tried to place himself right in the middle of it to become one with the University and city. He is a great asset to the team as he readily shares information about his home culture and community to his teammates to broaden their knowledge of other parts of the world."
INTEGRITY
Will Moriarty – "Will is a constant worker and doesn't sacrifice his beliefs for the status quo. He does things the right way, whether it be in the classroom, on the field, or at home. His respect for the game of baseball and for others is at the top of the charts. He is a pusher, a leader, a worker, and a competitor. Will is very coachable and willing to listen and adapt. His integrity contributes to his successes."
EXCELLENCE
Brandon Talley – "To be excellent in one area is hard, to be excellent in more than one area takes extreme work ethic. Brandon contributed on both sides of the ball in 2020. A sure handed first baseman on somedays, a quality left handed pitcher on others. Not to mention his middle of the lineup hitting presence that he also provided. He is a tireless worker on his craft, or crafts. It takes so much time at this level to be a consistent hitter, but to excel on the mound as well, takes extreme ability and drive. Both of which Brandon has."
