Junior College: Two-year regular at Jones County CC, playing for legendary head coach Ray Perkins. . . made 32 catches for 510 yards, a 15.9 average and 4 TD’s as a sophomore, helping team to a 9-2 record. . . also rushed three times for 19 yards and a TD. . . was a first team All-MACJC South Division All-Freshman choice in 2012 after making 27 catches for 584 yards and five touchdowns. . . a three-star prospect by both Rivals.com and 247Sports. . . had interest from Auburn, Akron, Illinois State and Ohio.
High School: Honorable mention all-state choice as a senior at Teurlings Catholic High, playing for coach Sonny Charpienter. . . made 56 catches for 962 yards, a 17.2 average and 13 touchdowns as a senior to help team to a 9-4 record. . . also earned all-district and All-Acadiana accolades.
