High School:  Second team preseason all-state choice by Rivals.com as a senior at Gadsden City High, playing for coach Matt Scott. . . also named to the All-Messenger second team and was selected to play in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game. . . had 95 tackles with three sacks and six TFL as a junior. . . rated No. 22 in the state by Rivals.com, No. 46 by 247Sports and the No. 52 overall middle linebackerby Scout.com. . . chose Louisiana over offers from Arkansas, Kentucky, Southern Miss, Purdue, Memphis, Texas Tech and Mississippi State. . . graduated from high school in December and enrolled at Louisiana in January and will take part in spring practice.
