High School: First team all-state honoree as a senior at Catholic High, playing for coach Brent Indest. . . caught 59 passes for 1,218 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior, adding 573 yards rushing on 43 carries with seven TD’s. . . named the All-Acadiana Offensive Most Valuable Player by the Daily Advertiser. . . honorable mention all-state choice as a junior and making 59 catches for 1,054 yards and 14 touchdowns, adding 20 carries for 300 yards and a TD and nine kickoff returns for a 38.1 average and a TD. . . excelled at the Nike Combine,ranking third among the athletes attending Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma area. . . posted a 4.45 time in the 40, a 4.03 in the shuttle and 35-inch vertical leap. . . chose Louisiana over offers from Houston and ULM and interest from Baylor, Hawaii and Louisiana Tech.
