Camp Information
The Ragin' Cajun Baseball Camps are geared to provide coaching,
competition and facilities necessary for improvement through fundamental
drills, hard work and game situations. Information will also be given
on having a positive mental attitude, goal setting and other skills
designed to make a difference in fulfilling potential both on and off
the field.

Camp Philosophy
Designed to prepare the high
school baseball athlete for their spring high school season. The
program is designed to enhance game knowledge and game skills through
live games.
Pitchers will have monitored
innings and pitch counts for safety. Pitchers will also train in areas
of velocity and strength training unique to Division I college pitchers.
Players will receive coaching from coach Chris Domingue (academic
coordinator for UL Baseball) on NCAA academics to play at the next
level. All players will receive a personal written evaluation when
league ends.
Camp Information
- Personal instruction from the
entire UL Ragin' Cajuns baseball coaching staff, current and former
college and professional players
- 8 Teams/12 Players per team
- 6 Sunday Games
- Grades 9th thru 12th only - No exceptions
- Only open to first 96 players
- All games played on ML "Tigue" Moore Field
- Wood and aluminum bats will be used
Supervision
Supervision will be provided by the UL Lafayette baseball staff. Each student-athlete will be informed of the camp's rules, regulations and responsibilities during the orientation meeting immediately following check-in.
Facilities
Morning and afternoon sessions will begin and end at M.L. Tigue Moore
Field. Other areas such as Bourgeois Hall and the Leon Moncla Indoor
Practice Facility may be utilized during inclement weather.
Check-in
Will be from 8:30 to 8:50 am on the first day of camp.
Cancellation Fee
There is a $25.00 non-refundable cancellation fee
Discounts
Please note: Please send in team or multiple child applications together. Only one discount will be applied to a camper per camp session. Must be pre-registered to enjoy any discount.
Drop Off & Pickup
Drop off and pick up will be located on the first base side of the stadium.
No youth camper will be allowed to walk without the supervision of an adult in any parking or driving area. We ask that parents drive through the pick up or drop off line instead of waiting for the camper(s) in their vehicle.
What to Bring
Campers will need to bring their own: Glove, Bat, Tennis Shoes and Cleats. (Please mark all equipment prior to camp). Lunch will be provided to campers attending full day sessions.
