Saw action as a pitcher in 13 Ragin’ Cajuns games as a redshirt freshman...Logged 27.0 innings of work, posting a 2-1 record in the circle with two saves...Earned her first collegiate win over Alcorn State on Feb. 23, in a relief appearance...In her first start as a Cajuns pitcher on March 24, picked up her second win in a 10-1 Cajuns victory over Western Kentucky as she tossed a two hitter...Also saw action in 31 games as a pinch runner...Scored 13 runs and stole three bases.

Did not compete during the season, taking a redshirt.
High School
One of the top pitchers in the state of Louisiana, was the Daily Advertiser Coca-Cola All-Acadiana Most Valuable Player and was a member of the Class 5A All-State first team in 2004...A three-time All-Acadiana and two-time All-District selection, tallied 29 victories against eight losses in the pitching circle as a junior...Tossed 185 innings allowing 29 earned runs on 83 hits and 92 walks...The Lafayette native fanned 318 batters, holding the opposition to a paltry .127 batting average...Was named the LHS Team MVP in 2003 and 2004 after helping lead the Lions to back-to-back 20-win seasons...The three-sport star (also played volleyball and basketball) was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was named the LHS Outstanding Math Student her sophomore and junior years.
