Prior to Louisiana
Was an instant success at Lake Land (Ill.) College, completing her two-year stay (2019-20) at the Matoon, Ill.-based college setting the career record for batting average (.510) and on base percentage (.551) … accumulated 127 runs scored, 171 hits, 76 RBI and 42 stolen bases … as a freshman in 2019, finished 131-for-256 (.512) at the plate with 53 RBI, leading the NJCAA in at bats and hits, ranking fourth in runs and triples and finishing ninth in batting average … struck out only twice in 271 plate appearances in her rookie collegiate season ... received the NJCAA Division I Region 24 Player of the Year award and NFCA All-Midwest Region and All-American honors … hit an impressive .468, to go along with a .558 on-base percentage, 23 RBI, and eight stolen bases in the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season.
