Junior College: First team All-MACJC choice as a sophomore at East Mississippi CC, playing for coach Buddy Stephens. . . shared the team lead with 53 catches for 807 yards, a 15.2 average and eight touchdowns as a sophomore, helping team to a 12-0 record. . . closed his career by making six catches for 186 yards and two touchdowns to earn the team most valuable player of the game honors in leading EMCC to a 52-32 win over Georgia Military in the Mississippi Bowl to claim the NJCAA national title. . . sat out the 2012 season with a knee injury. . . started as a freshman in 2011, making 21 catches for 315 yards, a 15.0 average and a pair of touchdowns to help EMCC to a 12-0 record and the school’s first national title. . . also rushed 14 times for 81 yards and seven touchdowns.
High School: First team all-state choice by both the Clarion Ledger and the Mississippi Association of Coaches as a senior at Meridian High, playing for coach Larry Weems. . . carried 150 times for 1,220 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior, helping team to a 14-1 record and a second place finish in the state playoffs. . . carried 29 times for 160 yards anda TD in the state title game. . . was one of five players from the state to earn Stars of the South recognition from Scout.com. . . also rushed for 920 yards and 113 TD’s as a junior.
