JUNIOR SEASON (2004)
Battery mate for ace hurler Brooke Mitchell who played a key role in her
record-breaking season…The Cajuns everyday starter at catcher, for the third
straight season, she also handled freshmen Holly Tankersley and Heather
Bobbitt…Started all 68 games behind the plate…Was third on the team with 11 home
runs – her second straight season with double-digit home runs…Had a career-best
44 hits and 38 RBI...Threw out a career-best 24 runners attempting to steal a
base (opponents were 40-of-64 stealing against her)…Perfect 4-for-4 in stolen
bases and was 3-for-3 in Sun Belt play…Struck out just five times in 48 at bats
during Sun Belt play…Second on the team with 12 two-out RBI and led the squad
with 16 base hits in two-out situations…Had nine multi-hit and multi-RBI
outings…Drove in five runs twice (Feb. 14 vs. McNeese and May 15 vs. Middle
Tennessee)...Hit a three-run home run in the Cajuns 10-3 win over DePaul…Tops on
the squad with six sacrifice flies...Had her first career multi-home run game
when she went yard twice and collected five RBI against McNeese State Feb.
14...Hit two doubles and drove home three runs against Oklahoma in NCAA Regional
play.
SOPHOMORE SEASON
(2003)
Selected as a member of the 2003 All-Louisiana Softball
Team...Collected a single-season best 10 home runs and 34
RBI while starting every game at catcher for the second
straight season...Her RBI total was third-best on the
team...The 10 home runs were the fourth most...Led the team
with four sacrifice flies...Had a stretch of four straight
games with at least one home run April 13-16; hit two home
runs in the Nicholls State doubleheader April 16 – each time
breaking up one-run games to ensure Cajun victories...Scored
the winning run in the Cajuns 2-0 win over Alabama on March
27; Later in the game hit a one-out double that scored the
insurance run in the sixth inning...Threw out seven runners
(out of 29) attempting to steal a base, including UCLA’s
Natahsa Whatley in the World Series, and had five pickoffs
to her credit including a key pickoff in the top of the
sixth against Florida State at the KIA Klassic, a game the
Cajuns won 3-0... Drove in the Cajuns lone run of the UCLA
game to pull the Cajuns within one run, 2-1, in the fourth
inning...Had a career-long, five-game hitting streak April
13-17 in which she hit 7-for-12 with four home runs, one
double and 11 RBI.
FRESHMAN SEASON
(2002)
Was named to the All-Sun Belt Conference First
Team...Started 60 games at catcher...Picked up first
collegiate hit in season opener at Texas A&M-Corpus
Christi...Her first career homerun came against Western
Kentucky April 6 at Ragin’ Cajuns Softball Park...First
career RBI came Feb. 17 at the Oklahoma/Nike Classic against
Creighton...Was 4-for-6 with two RBI in doubleheader sweep
of UL Monroe Feb. 27...Had a season-high four-game hitting
streak, April 6-7 in four-game series against WKU...Finished
the weekend with the Hilltopppers 5-for-10 with four
RBI...Had a sacrifice fly RBI in both games at Southern
Miss...Had two-out, two RBI double in SBC Tournament
championship game in the sixth inning, extending the Cajuns
lead to 6-0...Threw out 20 baserunners attempting to steal a
base.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Denham Springs High School and played in the
state championship game during her sophomore and senior
seasons...Was named to All-District first team...Four-year
letterwinner in softball and volleyball...Was president of
the Anchor Club and Mu Alpha Theta...Also was vice-president
of her senior class...Played summer ball with the Louisiana
Patriots.

Webre...Parents are Chuck and Katrina Webre...Has one
younger brother, Tyler, and two younger sisters, Hope and
Paige...Her oldest of two sisters, Hope, is a member of the
Ragin’ Cajuns volleyball team...Majoring in Chemistry.
