FRESHMAN SEASON (2004)
Appeared in 25 games and started eight...Registered a 5-2 record and 0.81 ERA while tossing 69 1/3 innings...Had five complete games and two solo shutouts...Made three starts in Sun Belt play posting a 2-0 record with a 0.26 ERA over 27 innings...First career appearance came in relief of Brooke Mitchell in the fifth inning of a no-hitter against McNeese State in the 18th Annual Louisiana Classics – tossed the final two outs getting flyouts from McNeese’s Mandi Salter and Tonya Edlund...Opened the season with 21 consecutive scoreless innings...Walked only 12 hitters in 25 appearances...First career start came on Feb. 20 against Prairie View in the Mardi Gras Classic at Ragin’ Cajuns Softball Park...Tossed five innings of three-hit softball striking out seven PV hitters in a 9-0 victory...Pitched 11 innings, starting two games, allowing only one earned run and striking out 11 combined at the McNeese Cowgirl Classic...Pitched the final four innings of a combined no-hitter against ULM on Feb. 25 striking out five...Made the biggest start of her young career in the second game of a doubleheader with Florida International April 18 (was also her first career Sun Belt start)...Filled in for an injured Brooke Mitchell and pitched the Cajuns to a 3-2 victory allowing FIU just five hits over seven innings to preserve the Cajuns undefeated Sun Belt record...Held FIU scoreless until the sixth inning when the Golden Panthers pushed across two unearned runs...The start came after she finished the final 1 2/3 innings of the previous game in which Brooke Mitchell was struck in the forehead by a line drive...Pitched the final 1 2/3 innings of the Cajuns Sun Belt Tournament championship victory over Middle Tennessee.

Was a four-year letterman for the Pirates of Vidor High School...Saw action in the pitching circle, first base and third base...Helped lead her team to the state championship as a senior in 2003...Was voted Newcomer of the Year in 2000 as a freshman...In 2001 was named the All-Orange County Best Pitcher...Was named the District 19-4A MVP as a junior in 2002...Also a member of the 2002 Texas Sports Writers Association All-State First Team...Set the school career record for strikeouts...Helped lead VHS to district titles 2000-02 and a runner-up spot in 2003...On April 10, 2003, struck out 31 batters in 16 innings against rival PN-G.
