2011 (Junior): Started all 13 games at safety, earning the team’s defensive newcomer of the year award. . . finished second on the team with 80 tackles (49 solo). . . also had three interceptions for 110 yards and two touchdowns, seven pass breakups and a tackle-for-loss. . . had five or more tackles in a game 10 times, including in each of the final seven games. . . opened season by making three tackles and returning an interception 50 yards for a score at Oklahoma State (9/3). . . made nine tackles (four solo) at Kent State (9/10). . . made eight solo stops as part of a nine-tackle effort at Arizona (11/26), intercepting two passes and returning one 41 yards for a touhdown. . . defensive standout in the win over San Diego State in the New Orleans Bowl, making a career high 11 stops. . . earned first letter.
