2007
Started 57 of the Cajuns 64 games at shortstop...Suffered a lower back injury late in the season...Tied for third on the team in runs scored (34), fifth in total bases (89), fifth in at bats (175), fourth in slugging percentage (.509), fifth in hits (48), fourth in on base percentage (.393), third in RBI (45), third in homeruns (12) and fifth on the team with plate appearances (.214)...Had 15 multi-hit games in 2007, including two three hit games - one against Baylor in a 10-2 Cajuns win and one against No. 3 Alabama...On March 2, 2007, had seven RBI in an 18-0 UL win over Seton Hall at the Easton Spring Fling in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where she had seven hits and 11 RBI in four games...On April 18, hit two home runs as Louisiana defeated Houston 14-0 in the second game of a doubleheader.
2006
First full season as the Ragin’ Cajuns starting shortstop...Led the Cajuns with 91 assists in 2006...Drew 22 walks against 21 strikeouts...Had nine multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI games...Had a leadoff home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull Cajuns into a tie with NC State in the elimination game of the Baton Rouge Regional ? Cajuns went on to win in the ninth inning and advanced to the championship game...Ranked fourth on the team with 45 base hits...Ranked third on the team with 16 two-out RBI...Had a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning that scored Ashley Evans with the winning run against defending national champion Michigan at the Judi Garman Classic...In the bottom of the 10th inning she threw out pinch runner Michelle Weatherdon on a play at the plate in which the Wolverines were attempting to tie the game.
2005
Was a member of the All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team...Entered the starting lineup as a true freshman on March 29 taking over the shortstop position and committed only five errors in 102 chances...Began her collegiate career with no errors in her first 44 chances...Her first career start at shortstop was the opening game of a home doubleheader with ULM on March 29 and she played errorless through the April 23 North Texas doubleheader...Played in a total of 53 games, starting the final 32 of the season...After entering the starting lineup she hit for a .292 average (21-for-72) with five doubles and two home runs...Posted six multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games after entering the lineup...In her first Sun Belt series, against New Mexico State, posted a team-best .444 batting average (4-for-9) with three runs, one home run and two RBI...Hit first career home run on April 10 off of NMSU ace Sarah Seagraves.
High School
A softball and basketball standout at Port Barre High School...A shortstop for the Red Devils of District 6-2A, she was a four-time All-State performer and was a member of the 2000 state championship squad...Competed on the varsity team in eighth grade and made the All-State team...Her highest batting average came during her sophomore year in which she sported a .500 average...Member of the Chess Club...Member of the All-State team her senior season as well as First Team All-Acadiana...Hit .490 her senior season and was named Louisiana’s Class 2A Outstanding Player.
