Weather Forces Schedule Change; Cajuns Set for Saturday Twinbill

Louisiana eyes series comeback against South Alabama ahead of SBC Championship
MOBILE, Ala. – Due to inclement weather on Friday, May 1, game two of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team's regular-season ending series with South Alabama at Jaguar Field in Mobile, Alabama has been postponed.
The two teams are now scheduled to close out the series on Saturday, May 2 with a doubleheader at Jaguar Field.
Game one of the doubleheader is scheduled for 12:00 p.m., with game two following 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
South Alabama (28-24, 12-10 SBC) holds a 1-0 series lead after capturing a 4-0 win in the series opener on Thursday, April 30 behind a complete-game, two-hit shutout pitched by Ryley Harrison.
Louisiana (27-25, 10-12 SBC) looks to regroup and seeks to collect a road series win to build momentum heading into the May 6-9 SBC Softball Championship tournament that's being held at Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park.
Saturday's twinbill will be televised on ESPN+ with Pat Greenwod and Charlie Harrison calling the action. Fans can listen to the radio broadcast on The GOAT 103.3 FM and 1420 AM in the Acadiana region and worldwide on Varsity Network with Cody Junot (pxp) and Bobby Neveaux (analyst) providing commentary.
