Louisiana's Jensen Named To Allstate AFCA Good Works Team

Sophomore tight end leader on the field, locker room, community
NORTHBROOK, Ill. – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns tight end Caden Jensen was one of a record-breaking 197 nominees named to the 2025 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®, in an announcement by Allstate and the American Football Coaches Association.
College football student-athletes and head coaches from all levels of the sport are recognized for their commitment to community service and leadership beyond the gridiron.
Jensen, a redshirt sophomore, caught 19 passes with a pair of touchdowns in 2024. The Flower Mound, Texas, native played in all 14 games with nine starts for the Ragin' Cajuns and was named a 2024 CSC Academic All-District selection.
"I've been a part of this team, and these players aren't just showing up, they're standing out," said Sam Acho, ESPN analyst, former NFL linebacker, author and 2010 Good Works Team member and Allstate Wuerffel Trophy recipient. "Their commitment to service creates lasting change and inspires the next generation."
Louisiana, which recorded its fourth 10-win season in the past six years and earned its fifth berth in the Sun Belt Conference Championship in seven years, will officially open its 2025 season on August 30 when it plays host to Rice in the inaugural game of the newly-renovated Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium.

The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team was established in 1992 by the College Football Association, recognizing the extra efforts made by college football players and student support staff off the field. AFCA became the governing body of the award in 1997 and continues to honor college football players who go the extra mile for those in need.
