Time Change Announced for SBC Softball Semifinal Round

TROY, Ala. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team's semifinal contest in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Tournament in Troy, Alabama has been moved to a morning start on Friday, May 9 due to the expectation of inclement weather.

Louisiana (29-24) and Coastal Carolina (39-17) are now scheduled to begin play at 10:00 a.m. from the Troy Softball Complex.

The winner claims a spot in the SBC Championship Tournament's championship game that's set for 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, May 10 on ESPN2.

Live television coverage of Friday's semifinal contest is available on ESPN+ while a radio broadcast is available on The Goat 103.3 FM and 1420 AM in the Acadiana region and worldwide on The Varsity Network.

On Friday, the Ragin' Cajuns seek to secure the program's 11th consecutive appearance since 2014 – and the 23rd appearance overall in 25 attempts – in the championship game of the SBC Championship Tournament.
