Women’s Tennis Announces Spring Schedule

The Cajuns open the spring on the road against Tulane
LAFAYETTE – Seven home matches headline the Louisiana women's tennis spring schedule, the team announced on Thursday. The Ragin' Cajuns open the season on January 25 with their first home contest on February 1 against Southern.
The Cajuns won't have to travel far for their first two matches of the season, at Tulane on January 25 before facing Houston on the road on January 28. The team then opens their home slate with Southern before hosting Rice on February 2.
They hit the road to face SEC foe Mississippi State on February 4 and follow it up with a trip to Nacogdoches, Texas. There they'll face Jackson State on February 10 and Stephen F. Austin on February 11.
The team returns home for Sun Belt Conference play beginning March 9 against in-state rival ULM. Louisiana follows that with home contests against Georgia Southern (March 16) and Coastal Carolina (March 17). After a four-match road swing through James Madison, Old Dominion, App State, and Marshall, the Cajuns return home on April 6.
They'll close the home slate against Georgia State before facing Troy on April 7. The team then hits the road to face Texas State and South Alabama to close the regular season. The Sun Belt Conference Championships in Rome, Georgia start April 24.
