Junot Named Softball Radio Play-By-Play Announcer

The familiar voice has spent the last six seasons as the sideline reporter for Louisiana football
LAFAYETTE, La. – Fans of Ragin' Cajuns Athletics will hear a familiar voice at Lamson Park this season as Cody Junot will serve as play-by-play voice of Louisiana softball for the 2023 season.
Junot has spent the last six seasons as the sideline reporter for Louisiana football radio broadcasts and has done fill in play-by-play for spring sports. Junot has also been a part of select ESPN+ telecasts during that time.
Bobby Neveaux, who has served as color commentator for softball broadcasts, will continue in that role.
Junot and his wife Rachel have two sons, Grayson, 8 and Hudson 5.
The Cajuns open their season with the Louisiana Classics on Friday against Lafayette College at 4 p.m. Louisiana softball can be heard on 103.3 The Goat, simulcast on 1420 am.
