Women's Tennis Falls to Georgia State, 4-0, in Sun Belt Quarterfinals

Ragin' Cajuns season comes to a close in Peachtree City
LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Women's Tennis was eliminated from the Sun Belt Conference Tournament on Saturday afternoon, dropping a hard-fought match to second-seeded Georgia State, 4-0.
With the defeat, the Ragin' Cajuns finished their season with a 7-12 overall record.
Georgia State took a 1-0 lead early in the match after wins on Courts 1 and 3 in doubles play.
From there, the Panthers used three straight-set victories to secure the 4-0 sweep and advance to the semifinals.
Carla Urchoeguia and Angel Santiago both dropped their first sets in singles play, but were leading in the second set of their respective matches before they went unfinished.
