Annual Bill Bass Open Scheduled For October 29 at Les Vieux Chenes

Four-person scramble to start at noon; deadline to register is Oct. 22
LAFAYETTE – The annual Bill Bass Open, benefitting the Bill Bass Scholarship Fund and Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Golf team, is scheduled for Friday, October 29 at Les Vieux Chenes Golf Club. Registration and lunch begin at 11:00 am, followed by a shotgun start at noon.

The tournament is a four-person scramble with a point system to allow for handicaps. Total team handicaps (all four handicaps added together) will be used in a point system that will determine handicap strokes for each team prior to play.

Entry fees are $150 per person or $125 per RCAF member. Registration includes a green fee and cart, a souvenir golf shirt and other tee gifts, range balls, lunch, and refreshments on the course. Two mulligans and a raffle entry for a UL Lafayette prize are available for a $10 contribution.

The tournament is open to everyone up to a maximum of 36 teams and 144 players.
