Ragin’ Cajuns Women’s Tennis Goes Far in ITA Tournament

Lucie Raquin soared through the qualifying rounds with four impressive wins against McNeese State's Ariane Monlleo Sanchis, Troy's Kristina Kukaras, UAB's Sydney Clarke and Southern Miss's Ebru Zynap Yazgan.
Raquin was ultimately defeated in Round One of the main draw against Ole Miss' Emmanouela Antonaki (3-6, 6-7 (6)).
Tanisha Kashyap also competed in Round One of the main draw against Auburn's Carolyn Ansari (1-6, 5-7).
The doubles team of Raquin and Carla Urchoeguia put up a fight in the Second Round of the main draw, but were knocked out by South Alabama's Nikola Kohoutova and Luminita Tutunaru (1-8).
Louisiana Women's Tennis will finish out their fall season at Cajun Courts for the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational, which will be held from Nov. 5-6.
