Sun Belt Conference Championship Game Moved to 2:30 p.m. on ESPN

Ragin’ Cajuns will face No. 13 Coastal Carolina in highly anticipated title bout

LAFAYETTE – The Sun Belt Conference's Championship Game between No. 17 Louisiana and No. 13 Coastal Carolina on Saturday, Dec. 19, will now kick off at 2:30 p.m. CST on ESPN, the league office and ESPN announced on Sunday morning.

The game will be Louisiana's fourth appearance on the flagship station, with the Ragin' Cajuns owning a 2-1 record in those games this year with wins over Iowa State (Sept. 12) and Appalachian State (Oct. 4).

Overall, this will be the team's 10th game on an ESPN platform in 2020.

Louisiana will be playing in its third consecutive conference title game, the most appearances by any program in league history. With a victory over Coastal Carolina, the team will secure its first Sun Belt crown since the 2005 season.
