Louisiana Hosts Arkansas State for Annual Homecoming Game

The Ragin’ Cajuns look to maintain their lead in the Sun Belt West
LAFAYETTE – After two-straight games on the road, Louisiana returns to Cajun Field to begin a three-game homestand beginning on Saturday, Nov. 7, when it hosts Arkansas State. Dubbed the University's annual Homecoming game, the Ragin' Cajuns and Red Wolves are slated to kickoff at 11 a.m. on ESPNU.

Louisiana owns a 41-27-2 record on Homecoming, including a 5-1 mark over Arkansas State. Under head coach Billy Napier, the Ragin' Cajuns are 2-0 on Homecoming.

The Ragin' Cajuns are coming off a 44-34 victory over Texas State where they registered 614 total yards of offense. Louisiana also improved to 4-0 on the road this year and 9-1 in road games dating back to the start of last season.

• The win against Texas State (Oct. 31) marked the 10th time in the Billy Napier era that the team has recorded 40 or more points in a single game.
• Louisiana's 332 passing yards against Texas State marked the fifth time in the Billy Napier era that the team eclipsed 325 passing yards. Prior to Napier arriving at Louisiana, the Ragin' Cajuns hadn't amounted for 325 yards through the air since Oct. 10, 2013, against Texas State (360).
• Louisiana produced 614 yards of offense against Texas State, the seventh-most in the last 20 seasons.
