Louisiana Football Continues Surge in National Rankings

Ragin’ Cajuns ranked No. 20 in AP Poll, No. 23 in USA Today/Amway Coaches Poll
LAFAYETTE – Following a monster performance against ULM in which it scored 70 points, Louisiana Football moved up three spots in both national polls after checking in at No. 20 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll and No. 21 in the USA Today/Amway Coaches Poll.
The Ragin' Cajuns have now appeared in the national rankings seven times this year and have been ranked in the last four AP polls, returning after their Homecoming win over Arkansas State on Nov. 7.
No. 20 Louisiana returns to action on Friday, Dec. 4, when it travels to Boone, N.C., to take on Appalachian State in a rematch of the last two Sun Belt Conference Championship Games. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. CST and will be broadcast on ESPN2.
