Louisiana’s Game at Appalachian State Rescheduled to December 4

Rematch of the last two Sun Belt Championship Games to be broadcast nationally on ESPN2 at 6 p.m. CST

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Football's highly-anticipated game at Appalachian State has been rescheduled for Friday, Dec. 4, at Kidd-Brewer Stadium in Boone, North Carolina. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. (CST) and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.

The game, which is a rematch of the last two Sun Belt Conference Championship Games, was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 7, before being postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests and contact tracing within the Mountaineers' football program.

Louisiana will be seeking its first win over App State when the two programs face off in December, with the Mountaineers leading the series 8-0.

Louisiana returns to action on Friday, Oct. 23, when it travels to Birmingham, Alabama, to take on Conference USA opponent UAB. Kickoff from Legion Field is slated for 7 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
