Women’s Tennis Opens Fall Slate at Lady Demon Invitational

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Women's Tennis begins its 2019 fall schedule on Friday, Sept. 13, when it heads to Northwestern State for the Lady Demon Invitational. The tournament will be held at the Jack Fisher Lady Demon Complex on Friday and Saturday.
 
Look Who's Back: The Ragin' Cajuns return seven athletes from last year's roster led by Floriane Picaut. Picaut led the team with eight No. 1 singles wins last season. For a full view of the roster click here.
 
First Appearances: The two new additions to the roster, Lucie Raquin and Mariona Perez Noguera, will make their debuts during this tournament. Raquin is the lone freshman on the team, while Perez Noguera is a sophomore transfer from Pitt.
 
Opening Draws: Below are the draws for tomorrow's first round of action:

    Mariona Perez Noguera vs. Momoko Yoshimura (TJC) – White Draw

    Lucie Raquin vs. Julia Khmula (TJC) – Black Draw
