Louisiana Athletics Extends Contract with Cox Sports Television

Ragin’ Cajuns and CST extend agreement into 2019-20 athletic year
LAFAYETTEÂ - Louisiana Athletics has announced a one-year extension of the two-year partnership both the Ragin' Cajuns and Cox Sports Television (CST) entered into for the 2017-18 athletic season, extending the relationship through the 2019-20 campaign.

"We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Cox Sports Television," Louisiana Director of Athletics Bryan Maggard said. "Throughout this partnership, the Ragin' Cajuns brand has been carried into millions of households across the country. CST is an excellent platform to showcase many of our live sporting events as well as coaches show programs throughout the year. Our department is looking forward to continuing this outstanding relationship with CST."

CST will broadcast a variety of Louisiana Athletics home contests over the course of the 2019-20 season, including baseball, women's basketball and softball. Games are often produced in-house by the Ragin' Cajuns' broadcast services department, which additionally serves as a training ground for University students interested in working in television.

"It is no secret that the Ragin' Cajuns have one of the most passionate fan bases in the country, and we are happy that we can continue to support and display that across our network."

Louisiana Athletics' additionally supplies weekly coaches show programming to CST throughout the year. Inside Louisiana Football, Inside Louisiana Basketball, Inside Louisiana Baseball and Inside Louisiana Softball featured highlights, head coach interviews, student-athlete features, and more, as viewers tuned in from around the country.
