No. 8 Louisiana’s Series at ULM Postponed Until Saturday

Field conditions forced play to be pushed back to a 12 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday
MONROE – The continuation of the regular-season ending series between No. 8 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball and ULM has been postponed to a Saturday doubleheader at 12 p.m. at the ULM Softball Complex.
Rain showers earlier in the day on Friday caused field conditions in the outfield, which is a natural grass surface, to be unplayable.
The Ragin' Cajuns and Warhawks had convened Friday evening with the plans of playing a doubleheader based up Saturday's weather forecast.
Louisiana (47-4, 25-0 Sun Belt) holds a 1-0 edge in the Sun Belt series after a one-hit shutout, 16-strikeout effort from Summer Ellyson led to a 3-0 win on Thursday.
